Stanisław Miedza-Tomaszewski (1913-2000) was a Polish artist and resistance member.
Member of the Polish resistance during WWII, he escaped from Pawiak after being arrested by the Germans. Those events served as the basis for the movie Umarłem, aby żyć (1984).
In Polish resistance, he was one of the members of the Bureau of Information and Propaganda. He designed posters and underground stamps.
Brother of photographer Jerzy Tomaszewski (also a member of Polish resistance in WWII).
Godfather of Polish president Lech Kaczyński.
